DCWD College Scholarship 2023 | How to Apply
Attention all scholarship seekers! Davao City Water District announces the availability of 15 DCWD College Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and 5 DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarships for the school year 2023-2024 to qualified students pursuing a college degree at the University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP).

Scholarship Benefits
Following are the benefits of DCWD College Scholarship 2023:
- Meal allowance
- Transportation allowance
- Boarding house allowance
- Uniform/textbook allowance
- Education tour allowance
- Incentive for scholars who will qualify as Dean’s Listers
- Thesis allowance (graduating year)
DCWD College Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples (IPs)

DCWD Scholarship Qualifications
Following are the qualifications of DCWD College Scholarship 2023 for Indigenous Peoples (IPs):
- The applicant must be 15 to 25 years old incoming freshmen or continuing student.
- He or She must be a senior high school graduate with an average grade of at least 80%
- If currently enrolled in college, then average grade for the previous semester prior to the application must be at least 80%.
- Must be a member of the IP or Indigenous Cultural Communities and Muslims residing in the watershed areas Toril, Tugbok, Baguio, Calinan, and Marilog districts.
Documentary Requirements
Following are the documents required to apply for DCWD College Scholarship 2023:
- The Certificate signed by the tribal chieftain
- A Certificate from the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or National Commission on Muslim Filipino (NCMF) (whichever is applicable) certifying membership to an IP/tribal group and that the tribal chieftain is registered with NCIP/NCMF
- Readiness Test for Colleges and Universities and with a “High” description in the Quality Index if enrolled in the Engineering Program of the University
- Must have an Annual household income not exceeding P120,000
- Compliance to the qualifying requirements of USEP and
- Barangay clearance

Qualifications for the DCWD Scholarship
Following are the qualifications of DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
- The applicant must be 15 to 21 years old
- He or She must be a senior high school graduate from a school based in Davao City of the previous school year upon application
- The applicant must have an average grade of at least 85%
- The applicant must be part of the top 20% of the graduating class
Documentary Requirements
Following are the documentary requirements of DCWD Academic Excellence Scholarship
- Readiness Test for Colleges and Universities (RTCU) and with a “High” description in the Quality Index
- Must have an Annual household income not exceeding P120,000
- Compliance to the qualifying requirements of USEP
