The TeachSTEM Master’s Degree Scholarship application is open to Apply. The Gokongwei Brothers Foundation TeachSTEM Master’s Degree Scholarship Program is created to help aspiring teachers get the training and tools they need to become effective teachers and STEM leaders who give their students engaging and productive learning opportunities.

Scholarship Benefits
Following are the scholarship benefits of GBF TeachSTEM College scholarship 2023:
- Financial Annual Grant
- Public University: Php 45,000
- Private University: Php 65,000
- Scholarship Grant
- Scholarship grants sent directly to bank accounts of scholars
- Financial grants may be used for educational expenses like tuition, books, supplies, living expenses and conduct of research
- Scholar Development Programs
- Access to capacity-building programs (i.e. leadership, upskilling, subject content)
- A chance to be part of an educators community

Eligibility Requirements
Following are the eligibility requirements a student should meet to be eligible to apply for TeachSTEM scholarship:
- The candidate must have at least 1 year teaching experience
- in either public or private school with the intent to teach as a K-12 public school teacher of Science or Math (or any STEM-related subject) OR
- a tertiary level instructor/professor of any STEM-related subject or course
- The applicant must be a model of teaching excellence, innovativeness, care for learners, and commitment to serve
- Should be an incoming or ongoing MA student in education specializing in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Alternative Learning System, TechVoc training OR Special Education
- If currently an enrolled student, the applicant must NOT be in the comprehensive exam or thesis stage of his/her graduate studies and is enrolled with at least 6 units
- Must have a weighted grade – GWA of at least 2.0 or its equivalent from the previously enrolled academic year
- He or She must be enrolled in TEIs within or above the national average LET performance
- Must have no failed, incomplete, or dropped grades from the previous semester
- An applicant with an incomplete, dropped or failed subject can be admitted as long as they are able to present proof of completion of the said subjects
- Must have at least a “Satisfactory” rating in teaching performance from the previous year
- Must be of good moral standing with no existing disciplinary case at the university he/she enrolled in and at the public school he/she is teaching
- Must be in need of financial support to complete his/her studies
- Preferably not a recipient of other scholarships
- The student must be in good health
Required Documents
Following are the list of documents required to apply for TeachSTEM scholarship:
- Fully accomplished application form
- Proof of Enrollment
• For an incoming MA students, submit Proof of admission in the TEI and Letter of Intent to enroll in the next semester
• For an ongoing MA students, submit Certificate of registration for the current semester enrolled with at least 6 units and letter of intent to enroll in the next semester - Certified true copy of grades
• For incoming MA students, submit Transcript of Records either from the entire undergradute or at least two most recent consecutive semesters
• For onoging MA students, submit Certified True Copy of grades from the previous academic year or at least two most recent consecutive semesters from the college where the applicant is enrolled in - Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
- Curriculum plan
• For incoming MA students, submit complete course curriculum (from coursework, comprehensive exam to thesis)
• For ongoing MA students, submit subjects to take after current semester (from coursework, comprehensive exam to thesis) - Certificate of Good Moral character from the current year from the attended TEI and from the school where he/she is employed in
- Performance rating for the previous year from the current employer school
- Certificate of Employment with Rank and Salary
- Proof of residence:
• Photo of Residence AND
• Proof of Billing OR Barangay Certificate - PRC ID (Licensed Professional Teacher)
- ID Picture on a white background (2×2)
