LANI Scholarship 2023-2024 is open to apply for all eligible Filipinos. LANI Scholarship means Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need Scholarship. Mayor Maria Laarni L. Cayetano is committed to providing fair opportunity to study, finding work and a brighter future in her leadership.
She also believes that education is a crucial element to social progress and human development. So, the comprehensive Taguig City Scholarship Program was established under the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need (L.A.N.I.) Scholarship Program in 2011.

LANI Scholarship 2023 Program
Taguig City Scholarship Program was established under the Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need (L.A.N.I.) Scholarship Program in 2011 and has empowered tens of thousands of families ever since.
LANI Scholarship provides benefits of up to P50,000, for all eligible and accepted scholars
Benefits of LANI Scholarship
Following is the list of benefits and scholarship types covered under this program:

Here is the details of Target Beneficiaries of the scholarships:
- HONORS: Top 10 graduates of Public High School in Taguig
- PREMIER: Passed the UPCAT in any Luzon campus, or other Higher Education Institutions (HEI) classified as Centers of Excellence whether public or private
- PRIORITY: Courses and School Listed in DOST’S priority plus Persons With Disability and those taking up Law and Medicine in selected top performing schools
- BASIC PLUS (public to public): Graduate of Public High School in Taguig or contagious Local Government Units (LGU) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and are enrolled in an State Universities and Colleges (SUC) or Local Colleges and Universities (LCU)
- BASIC (public to private): Graduate of Public High School in Taguig or contagious Local Government Units (LGU) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and are enrolled in the Private HEIs in the NCR
- SUC/LUC (private to public): Graduate of Private High School in Taguig or contagious Local Government Units (LGU) in the National Capital Region (NCR) and are enrolled in the Public HEIs in the NCR such as SUCs or LCUs
- REVIEW: Graduate of tech-voc, degree, medical or law courses required by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or the Supreme Court (SC) to take board / bar examinations
- LEAD: Taking up Masteral or Doctoral Courses who are working in Taguig as national government employee; city employee; barangay employee; or private school teachers in schools in Taguig.

Eligibility Criteria for LANI Scholarship
Following is the qualifications required to be eligible to apply for scholarship:
- The applicant must be already enrolled;
- If 18 years old or older, the applicant must be an active voter of Taguig or voter in the “Embo” area that they are residing in;
- Must have at least one parent an active voter of Taguig or voter in the “Embo” barangay that they are residing in;
- The applicant’s family must be residents of Taguig or in the “Embo” barangay for at least three (3) years; and
- Candidate must have a good moral character.
Documentary Requirements
Following is the list of documents required to apply for LANI Scholarship 2023:
First Set: All Photocopies (For Submission)
- A Certified or Authenticated Copy of Official Form / Registration Form / Certificate of Matriculation for S.Y. 2023-2024 (1st Semester);
- Original / Authenticated or True Copy of Grades (Original) last semester (2nd Semester S.Y. 2022-2023, with school seal / official signature); (For Trimester, grades for the 2nd & 3rd Term, S.Y. 2022-2023); (For Quarter Terms, 3rd & 4th Term, S.Y. 2022-2023);
- Official Receipt / Proof of Payment of School Enrollment Form (for those in private school);
- Barangay Residency Certificate in the name of the applicant;
- Junior High School Card / Diploma / Certification from principal stating that the applicant completed Junior High School in their school (for New Applicant);
- Senior High School Card / Diploma / Certification from principal stating that the applicant graduated Senior High School in their school (for New Applicant);
- School ID or any VALID Government-issued ID (back-to-back photocopy in a single page);
- Birth Certificate.
Second Set: All Original / Authenticated if applicable (for verification only)
- Official Registration Form for S.Y. 2023-2024 (1st Semester);
- Official Receipt / Proof of Payment of School Enrollment Form (for those in private school);
- School ID or any VALID Government-issued ID.

Other Necessary Documents
- Elementary Form 137 (for those who graduated Elementary outside Metro Manila);
- High School Form 137 (for those who graduated High School outside Metro Manila);
- Certificate of Academic Excellence / Certification from principal for Top 10 graduates of Taguig public high schools (for Honors Scholars);
- Course Curriculum / Curriculum Checklist (if enrolled below 15 units);
- PDAO Endorsement and ID (for Priority / PWD scholars);
- EVS or ESC Voucher / Certification (for EVS / ESC Graduates);
- Application for Graduation / Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation (if graduating for the current semester)
- Transcript of Records (in necessary cases);
- Original copy and one (1) photocopy of Comelec Stub issued after May 2022 Elections (for applicants who are newly registered and those who have applied for reactivation).

The Deadline to apply for LANI Scholarship 2023 is September 22, 2023.
Important Update
LANI Scholarship applicants who have applied online from August 22-August 31, 2023 ( 5:00 PM ), please see your schedule based on clustered barangays. Only those who are listed on a given date will be accommodated. Other schedule will also be posted.
For those who cannot make it, you will be rescheduled on a later date.
